Message Last year, I could barely keep up with the demand for my mounts. It's hard to say whether this was due to all the forum coverage on copying or AshSpec taking advantage of the clearance benefit and making their large diameter turbo inlets. More than likely a bit of both and I thank everyone for their support.

My assumption is AMS has sold very few of their copy-cat mounts or those that have bought them are not willing to openly admit it. I personally feel sorry for the people that have bought any AMS copies, but I certainly do not feel hatred towards them. My guess is most spend money with AMS because AMS' prices fit their personal budgets, BUT, I also believe some of them will eventually see the poor quality they have bought and step up to the "real" version at a later date when their budgets allow. I view every AMS customer as a potential BDE customer at some point in the future.

We need to be careful of who we project our vengeance upon. The enemy is clearly AMS and its operators; we should not ridicule or alienate fellow 300ZX enthusiasts based upon their brand choices, forum affiliation, age or budgetary limitations.
